Inspiration

In the Hebrides Isles of Scotland, inspiration often comes from the sea itself. Watching the Aerorig on REV Fly—a research expedition sailboat dedicated to marine conservation—we were struck by how the jib and mainsail work together. That simple insight sparked an idea: why not design a propeller with staggered pairs of blades, working in harmony like sails in the wind? Soon after, we partnered with the Research Propulsion Centre at Teignbridge Propellers to bring that vision to life.
